Senior Executive/Assistant Manager- Human Resources

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, enforce, and maintain HR policies to ensure compliance, foster inclusivity, and promote fairness and consistency.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Work closely with leadership to understand business needs and align HR initiatives accordingly.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Develop strategies to attract top talent and maintain a talent pipeline.

  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal systems to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and high performance.

  • Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.

  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression.

  • Maintain HR records and compile reports for management review and decision-making.

  • Stay abreast of employment laws, ensuring HR practices comply with regulations.

  • Utilize data to assess HR metrics and make informed decisions on workforce strategies.

  • Conduct regular HR audits to assess and improve HR processes and policies.

  • Manage and supervise HR team members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HRM, Business from any recognized institution.

  • Experience in a similar role, with 3+ years in progressively responsible HR positions.

  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, practices, and employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

  • Strategic thinker with a focus on driving business results through HR initiatives.

  • Proficiency in MS Office/G-Suite, HRIS & other HR tools.
