Code94 Labs is a newly established, up-and-coming digital agency operating fully remotely. We cater to a wide clientele from different countries around the world, mainly based in Sri Lanka. We are a set of young individuals, therefore our working environment will be pretty flexible.

Whom we’re looking for:

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team at Code94 Labs. If you have a passion for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and brainstorming sessions to gather and validate business requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, and user stories, and communicate requirements and specifications to development teams.
• Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments for proposed changes and enhancements, and provide recommendations for implementation.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, and provide input on priorities and scope.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ( not required )
• Minimum of two years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in a software development environment.
• The flexibility to participate in work meetings during different time zones.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in Agile teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Other Skills:

• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for continuous learning and professional development, and a desire to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in business analysis.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
