We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer with a strong background in Machine Learning to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer at Salus, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems that support machine learning applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems.
  • Integrate machine learning models into backend services.
  • Work closely with machine learning engineers and front-end engineers to deploy machine learning models.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and backend development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of industry experience.
  • Strong experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Strong familiarity with machine learning concepts.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar industry or domain.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Expertise in NLP domain.
