Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our Sri Lanka team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance departments of both Sri Lanka and Singapore branches. This role demands a high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams across different locations.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports for both Sri Lanka and Singapore branches in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights to aid decision-making processes.
• Taxation and Compliance: Collaborate with external partners to ensure accurate and timely tax filings, adherence to local tax regulations, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Liaise with the finance teams in Singapore, India and Malaysia, facilitating seamless communication, sharing of financial data, and supporting inter-branch financial activities.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving initiatives within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to multinational environments being advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams across different geographical locations.
• Adaptability to evolving work demands and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
