Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, Tax Returns, BAS and IAS, including FBT and Div 7A issues for Businesses.
• Liaising with clients, our Melbourne Team and Statutory Authorities.
• Assisting with the preparation of financials and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trust and Companies.
• Maintaining KPI's.
• Using all our Compliance systems and workflows.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

•Accounting Degree in Finance٫ Accounting or Business Administration.

• 7+ years' overall accounting experience and 3+ years Australian Tax accounting experience.

• Candidate should be thorough with the type of trusts.

• Candidate should also possess knowledge and experience working with franking accounts.

• Experience with Xero Practice Manager and Xero accounting software.

• Australian Tax Accounting knowledge.

• Confident dealing directly with clients.

• Teamwork.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Attention to detail.

• High level of competency with Microsoft Office suite products.

• A willingness to learn all aspects of business systems, and knowledge requirements from the Melbourne Team.
