Our client is a relatively young and upcoming organization with HQ based in Melbourne Australia and a development center in Colombo, The organization has been on a significant growth trajectory backed by recent funding and an array of large-scale ASX & NASDAQ listed client projects.

Objectives of this Role
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Engaging with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors, to gather requirements, provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Collaborate with the team to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Assist in resource planning and allocation to ensure optimal project performance.
- Monitor and report on resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure deliverables meet established quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews to identify and address potential quality issues.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure that all project documentation is organized and accessible to the project team
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a project manager, managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion
- 5+ years of experience managing small to medium-sized software development teams (5-20 members)
- Possess at least two years of software engineering/QA experience
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and processes is essential: especially Scrum and Agile-related practices
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and environments.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving project-related issues and risks in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and techniques to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (JIRA, MS Project etc)
