🔍 Rust Engineer – Vector Database Development

As a Rust Engineer at Salus X Labs, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a robust and scalable vector database from the ground up. Drawing on your expertise with Rust and database systems, you will architect, design, and develop solutions that cater to the ever-evolving needs of the data world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop core components of the Salus' vector database in Rust.
• Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, and ML Engineers to shape the product roadmap and ensure that our vector db is the hottest in the market
• Building integrations and SDKs for other languages such as python and javascript
• Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
• Engage with the Rust and database communities, keeping abreast of the latest trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Rust programming.
• Familiarity with database concepts, distributed systems, and indexing methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
