Responsibilities & Requirements

• Processing Accounts Payable invoices daily in to MYOB/DATABUILD accounting software.

• Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.

• Conduct research to the resolution of invoice discrepancies/issues

• Maintain approved ETS invoices & preconstruction invoices, enter standard PO to DATABUILD, update payment dates in MYOB.

• Assist line manger to prepare weekly payment report.

• Assist with month end closing and maintain monthly data.

• Maintain accurate historical records.

• Perform any ad-hoc tasks.

• Provide financial/administrative support as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

Accounting Degree or professional accounting qualification.

• Experience in similar position for minimum 03 years.

• Experience with MYOB, ORACLE, or equivalent accounting packages.

• Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

• Understanding of Accounting Principles and Standards.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Numerical ability and data entry skills.

• High attention the detail and the ability to work to deadlines.

• Ability to work as part of a self-managing, multi-skilled team.

• Ability to communicate with team members to establish common goals.
