About The Role

We design differently. Every project starts in Claude Design, where we turn client input into early UI concepts in hours, not weeks. Once a direction is agreed, it moves into Figma, and that’s where you come in.

You’ll take AI-generated starting points and make them genuinely good: sharpening the flows, fixing the hierarchy, and making sure every screen actually works for the people using it. This is a design-first role. We care far more about your UX judgment and creative eye than your ability to write code.

What You’ll Do

• Take designs initiated in Claude Design, refine them in Figma, and carry them through to client-ready final versions
• Translate client briefs and feedback into clear user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens
• Critically review AI-generated layouts, spotting usability gaps, inconsistencies and weak interactions, and fixing them
• Iterate quickly with the team and clients, presenting design rationale clearly
• Build and maintain reusable components, styles and design systems in Figma
• Apply sound UX principles: information architecture, accessibility, responsive behaviour and visual hierarchy
• Prepare clean, well-organised Figma files for handoff to development teams

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer or UI/UX Engineer
• Strong command of Figma: auto layout, components, variants, prototyping and file organisation
• Solid grounding in UX fundamentals, including user flows, usability heuristics and accessibility (WCAG)
• A creative eye for typography, layout, colour and spacing
• Comfort working with AI design tools, and the judgment to know when their output needs rework
• A portfolio showing your process from problem to final design, not just finished screens
• Clear communication skills for working directly with clients and gathering requirements

Nice To Have

• Hands-on experience with Claude Design or similar AI-assisted design tools
• A basic understanding of HTML/CSS, enough to design what can realistically be built (no coding required day to day)
• Experience in agency or client-facing environments with multiple concurrent projects
• Familiarity with user research or usability testing methods
