The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join an Australian client. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, and semi- aligned to the Australian time zone.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on industry experience with atleast 2+ years experience building full stack applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience building AI powered applications, chatbots, AI agents, automations, or workflow solutions.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, third party integrations, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Vercel, Railway, or similar.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI model integrations, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered web applications.
• Build scalable frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Integrate AI models and services into production applications.
• Build AI agents, automation workflows, chat interfaces, and intelligent business tools.
• Design and optimize databases, application performance, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with international teams, stakeholders, and product managers.
• Follow best practices in software development, testing, security, and documentation.
• Deliver high quality work within timelines with minimal supervision.
