The Role: Web Design Intern

This isn’t your typical internship. You’ll get hands-on experience designing websites and landing pages for real clients, where you’ll:

• Design websites and landing pages for startups and growing businesses across different industries.
• Translate client requirements and brand directions into polished web designs.
• Create website layouts with clear hierarchy, structure, and content flow.
• Design key website sections, including navigation, hero sections, features, testimonials, CTAs, and footers.
• Create responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.
• Develop website design systems including typography, spacing, colors, components, and reusable elements.
• Create visual concepts and layouts that align with each client’s brand and goals.
• Design interactive elements and states such as buttons, menus, forms, and hover states.
• Create high-fidelity website designs and prototypes in Figma.
• Explore different creative directions and layouts to find effective solutions for each project.
• Work closely with senior designers to refine your designs through feedback and iteration.
• Research websites, design trends, and industry references to support your creative process.
• Prepare organized Figma files and design assets for presentation and handoff.
• Present and explain your design decisions during internal reviews.
• Work across multiple client projects, adapting your approach to different brands, industries, and audiences.

You’ll Thrive If You:

• Are currently studying or have a background in Web Design, Graphic Design, UI/UX, or a related field (a plus!).
• Have a portfolio that showcases strong website, landing page, or digital design work.
• Are confident using Figma and familiar with modern web design principles.
• Have a strong eye for layout, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and visual composition.
• Understand responsive design and how layouts adapt across different screen sizes.
• Enjoy exploring different visual directions and finding creative ways to present information.
• Are detail-oriented and care about creating polished, consistent designs.
• Are a self-starter who learns quickly and is comfortable working with feedback.
• Can manage multiple design tasks while keeping your work organized.
