The Job

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Computing and Information Technology-related subjects, including one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Database Systems, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Web Technologies, and other emerging digital technologies.
• Develop, review, and update curriculum content, teaching materials, and assessment methods to ensure alignment with academic standards and industry requirements.
• Guide, mentor, and support students in their academic progress, research, projects, and practical learning activities.
• Conduct research and contribute to publications, conferences, and academic initiatives. Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, or Database Technologies will be an added advantage.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic administration, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies and promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in Computing and Information Technology.

The Person

• Master's Degree (Completed) in Computing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours Degree from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of core computing concepts, with expertise in Artificial Intelligence or other emerging technologies considered a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Previous teaching or academic support experience is preferred; however, exceptional recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research.
• Passion for teaching, student success, and continuous academic improvement.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and modern educational technologies.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
