• Has a strong interest in Software Quality Assurance (QA) and Software Testing.
• Has a basic understanding of software development and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Has a strong interest in learning manual testing, functional testing and regression testing.
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Pays close attention to detail and has a quality-focused mindset.
• Is confident in identifying, documenting and communicating software defects.
• Is self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn new technologies and testing practices.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Has a strong interest in web applications, mobile applications and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of API testing, SQL, test automation or tools such as Postman, Selenium or Playwright will be an added advantage.
• Fluency in English & Sinhala. Basic knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.

What You'll Do:

• Perform manual and functional testing of web-based and digital applications.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios and test plans.
• Identify, document and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform regression, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Work closely with developers, business teams and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Validate new features and enhancements before production release.
• Assist in testing APIs, databases and system integrations.
• Conduct usability and cross-browser testing to ensure a consistent user experience.
• Maintain testing documentation and prepare QA reports and test results for the management and development teams.
• Support continuous improvement of software quality and testing processes.
