Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance mobile applications and solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Android development using Java/Kotlin and C++, along with an understanding of deploying and optimizing AI/ML models for mobile platforms.

Experience working with Qualcomm platforms and technologies will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications for the Android platform.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance Android solutions.
• Develop applications and components using Java/Kotlin and C++.
• Integrate and optimize native C++ components within Android applications.
• Work closely with AI/ML teams to integrate AI models into mobile applications.
• Convert, optimize, and deploy AI/ML models for execution on mobile/edge platforms.
• Explore and utilize hardware acceleration and mobile AI capabilities, particularly within Qualcomm platforms.
• Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, AI/ML engineers, and QA teams.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Android software development.
• Strong hands-on experience developing applications for the Android platform.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Good programming experience in C++.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android application architecture, and development practices.
• Experience with Android application debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred / Strong Plus

• Experience working with AI/ML models on mobile or edge devices.
• Experience converting or optimizing AI models to run efficiently on mobile platforms.
• Knowledge of AI model formats, inference frameworks, or mobile AI deployment technologies.
• Experience with Qualcomm platforms, chipsets, SDKs, or AI acceleration technologies will be a strong advantage.
• Understanding of hardware acceleration, GPU/NPU/DSP-based AI inference.
• Experience with performance optimization for resource-constrained mobile devices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong Android and native development expertise with an interest or experience in on-device AI. A candidate with hands-on experience taking AI models from development environments and making them run efficiently on mobile/edge hardware, particularly Qualcomm platforms, would be highly preferred.
