PAYable, Sri Lanka’s leading payment technology company serving over 40,000 merchants across card-present, card-not-present, mPOS, and digital payment channels, is looking for a passionate and experienced Sales Capability Development Specialist to strengthen and develop our growing sales team.

This role will focus on building sales capabilities, improving team effectiveness, and creating a structured learning environment to support the continued growth of our sales force.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new sales team members, covering PAYable products, sales processes, systems, and compliance requirements.

• Conduct continuous learning programs to enhance sales skills, including merchant engagement, sales techniques, objection handling, negotiation, and closing strategies.

• Identify knowledge and performance gaps within the sales team and develop targeted training solutions.

• Conduct role-plays, assessments, refresher sessions, and improvement programs to strengthen sales effectiveness.

• Develop training materials, learning plans, assessments, certification programs, and training calendars.

• Work closely with Sales Team Leaders and Management to understand team challenges and create impactful development initiatives.Support Team Leaders by providing coaching frameworks and tools to improve team performance and field execution.

• Track training effectiveness and continuously improve learning programs based on business requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales training, sales coaching, learning & development, or sales enablement roles.

• Strong understanding of sales processes, field sales operations, and performance improvement.

• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage, motivate, and develop sales teams through practical learning methods.

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or technology industries will be an added advantage.
