We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our upcoming branch at Arcade Independence Square, helping maintain and improve our facilities and equipment while ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Repairs

• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs across the premises.
• Attend to basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance requirements.
• Ensure facilities, fixtures, and equipment are kept in good working condition.

2. Facility Inspection

• Conduct regular checks of workspaces, meeting rooms, common areas, and other facilities.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly.

3. Preventive Maintenance

• Assist with scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support external technicians or contractors when required.

4. Tools & Supplies

• Maintain and safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and inform the Supervisor when replenishment is required.

5. Safety & Support

• Follow company health and safety procedures when carrying out maintenance work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, members, and guests.
• Support the Operations/Facilities team with other maintenance-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel background.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in IT would be an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends as required.
• Physical endurance to handle manual tasks and lift heavy objects when needed.
• Flexibility to be available for on-call or emergency situations is advantageous.
