About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Microservices Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices using the Java ecosystem. You should be passionate about building high-performance distributed systems and have practical experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and event-driven applications.
• Develop and integrate asynchronous messaging solutions using Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Implement gRPC services for high-performance inter-service communication.
• Design efficient database schemas and write optimized SQL queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Practical experience with gRPC.
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or other messaging platforms.
• Excellent SQL skills with experience in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Good understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
