Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
- Request and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
- Monitor the status of purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, project, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier database.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in procurement planning.
- Prepare purchasing reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction or project-based industries is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Accurate or accounting software is an advantage.
