Job Summary

Contribute as an Associate Full Stack Engineer to the design and development of modern web and mobile applications, using Python/Django on the backend and React Native, React.js, and Next.js on the frontend. You will own features end-to-end, and collaborate closely with Product, Seniors, UX, QA, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions, while efficiently using AI tools to improve productivity.

Demonstrate working knowledge of Python and backend frameworks such as Django and Flask by developing RESTful APIs, implementing business logic, ORM, authentication and authorization, third-party integrations, and writing automated unit and integration tests using py-test.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain full stack features using Python/Django on the backend and React Native, React.js, and Next.js on the frontend.

•Collaborating with Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers to deliver high-quality features while taking ownership of assigned work.

•Implement RESTful APIs, data models, and integrations with relational databases, ensuring secure and efficient data access.

•Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web and mobile interfaces, aligning closely with UX designs and brand guidelines.

•Write and maintain unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend components, contributing to stable and reliable releases.

•Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g. authentication, payments, notifications), handling errors and edge cases gracefully.

•Assist in deploying and maintaining applications on AWS and Google Cloud services (such as EC2, RDS, S3/Cloud Storage, Lambda/Cloud Functions, and API Gateway/Cloud Endpoints) while working with DevOps engineers.

•Follow Git-based workflows and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.

•Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and other team members in an Agile environment to refine requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver sprint commitments.

•Use AI-assisted development tools effectively for coding, refactoring, test generation and troubleshooting, following company’s security and usage guidelines.

•Participate in code reviews by providing and incorporating constructive feedback while following coding standards and software engineering best practices.

•Continuously improve technical skills in Python, Django, React, React Native, Next.js, AWS, GCP, system design, application security, software testing, and performance optimization.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

•1-2 years of experience in full stack software development (internship or academic project experience is acceptable).

•Basic understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming principles, and design patterns.

•Experience using Git for version control and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.

•Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.

•Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, debugging techniques, and software quality assurance practices.

•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts is a plus.

•Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to improve coding productivity while following security and coding standards.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

•Good communication, collaboration, and time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile team.

•Eagerness to learn new technologies, adapt quickly, and continuously improve technical and professional skills.
