Technical Core

• Degree in Software Engineering, an equivalent field, or proven equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of strong Python backend experience, with deep expertise in Django 5 and Django REST Framework (including ORM modeling, migrations, serializers, permissions, and robust API design).
• Proficiency with database technologies, specifically PostgreSQL and MySQL, including schema migrations and data seeding.
• Comfortable working with Redis, Dramatiq workers, background jobs, and handling production debugging of data or queue issues.
• Strong experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures using REST, gRPC, and protobuf interfaces.
• Experience integrating backend services with Firebase Auth/Admin.
• Confident working with Dockerized services and familiar with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Experience in creating and optimizing agentic development workflows.
• Proven track record of thoroughly testing APIs to ensure top-tier performance, security, and reliability.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Deep understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, code reviews, and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.
• Experience in mentoring junior developers and elevating their technical and professional skills.
• Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills, with a collaborative, teamwork-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points

• Rust service experience, especially with Tokio, Axum, Reqwest, and Serde.
