We’re looking for a Creative Director who can own ideas from the first client conversation to the final approved asset. Someone who doesn’t just “guide design” but actively shapes what gets created, why it exists, and how it performs.
You’ll work across multiple US-based client accounts, leading creative direction for fast-moving startups and brands that expect clarity, speed, and high creative standards.
This role is for someone who has already been inside the creative process and is now ready to own the entire direction of it.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Direction
- Own creative strategy across client accounts from onboarding to delivery
- Develop campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, and creative territories
- Write clear, structured creative briefs before design execution
- Set and maintain creative standards across all outputs
- Translate business goals into actionable creative direction
Client Management
- Lead onboarding calls with founders and marketing leads
- Act as primary creative contact across accounts
- Run weekly creative reviews via Slack/calls
- Translate client feedback into clear creative direction
- Ensure all output is on-brand, on-brief, and goal-aligned
Team & Production Leadership
- Direct senior designers and manage daily priorities
- Review all work before QA and final submission
- Oversee delivery across brand, UI/UX, ads, social, motion, decks, landing pages, etc.
- Ensure Framer output aligns with design intent
- Mentor designers and raise creative standards
Operations & Internal Alignment
- Work closely with PM (CD owns creative, PM owns workflow)
- Flag scope issues, capacity risks, and brief gaps early
- Improve internal briefs, processes, and creative systems
- Maintain visibility across all active accounts
Zyner-Specific
- Maintain Zyner’s creative quality standard across all clients
- Support onboarding calls when creative input is required
- Contribute to Zyner’s internal brand and marketing assets
- Ensure speed aligns with 24-hour turnaround expectation
Who This Role Is For
We’re looking for someone who:
- 3–6 years in creative direction, branding, design, or content roles
- Strong ability to turn messy briefs into structured creative direction
- Experience working closely with designers and improving output quality
- Comfortable managing multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
Bonus: If You Have Experience In
- Branding, identity systems, or agency/startup creative direction
- Performance marketing, social campaigns, pitch decks, investor storytelling
- Web/landing page direction (Framer/Webflow exposure is a plus)
