Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Retail Project Manager to lead large-scale Retail Banking Transformation Programs for global banking clients.

The role requires strong expertise in Retail KYC, Customer Onboarding, CDD, Lending, and Change Management, along with proven experience managing end-to-end delivery across multi-market and global programs.

The candidate will drive functional transformation initiatives, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure successful execution of complex banking and regulatory change programs using Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of Retail Banking transformation programs across global markets.

• Scope Management: Define project scope, roadmap, timelines, governance, and delivery plans.

• Project Coverage: Manage projects covering Retail KYC, Customer Onboarding, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Lending Transformation, and Regulatory & Operational Change.

• Agile Execution: Drive Agile project execution including sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination.

• Governance & Reporting: Manage project governance, RAID logs, status reporting, and steering committee updates.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business, operations, compliance, technology, and vendor teams across global stakeholders and multi-market delivery teams.

• Process Optimization: Support process optimization, target operating model design, and change management initiatives.

• Deployment Support: Coordinate UAT, implementation, and production rollout activities.

• Risk Mitigation: Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and delivery milestones throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience Required

• Duration: 8 to 12 years of core experience.

• Domains: Retail Banking, Functional Project Management, Banking Transformation Programs, and Regulatory Change Delivery.

Education

• Required: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology (B.E. / B.Tech.)

• Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, Management, or related disciplines.

Preferred Certifications

• PMP / PRINCE2

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / SAFe

• Agile Certifications preferred 2
