Job Role:

As part of an aggressive global expansion strategy, the organization is growing its presence in the Philippines. By positioning top-tier local operators in key tech hubs such as Manila, the company delivers advanced infrastructure and strategic communication solutions to high-volume international digital industries.

The Philippines-based Business Development Manager will play a critical commercial role, driving customer acquisition across Southeast Asian gaming, tech platform, and digital enterprise networks. This position requires a proactive “hunter” mindset, strong business acumen, and an established network within gaming, white-label platforms, payment gateways, and cloud vendor ecosystems. The role involves managing complex negotiations and designing tailored, high-performance communication solutions for international operators, overseeing the full cycle from lead discovery to corporate onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target Market Mining: Discover and validate high-potential enterprise clients through major international exhibitions (such as SiGMA), local industry forums, LinkedIn, Telegram, and dedicated professional channels.
  • Customer Profile Architecture: Establish, update, and manage a detailed database of target corporate accounts, structuring profiles based on operational scale, geographic coverage, licensing status, and volume of SMS/communication requirements.
  • Ecosystem Penetration: Proactively network with global gaming operators, whiteboard platforms, technical service providers, and payment gateways to uncover enterprise-level SMS verification and bulk messaging demands.
  • Customized Solution Architecture: Collaborate with technical teams to construct customized product introduction schemes, specifically optimizing variables such as transmission speeds, arrival rate assurance, and geographic pricing strategies.
  • End-to-End Deal Closure: Drive high-level commercial negotiations, finalize cross-border cooperation agreements, develop regional business lines, and manage flawless handovers to the Headquarters.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum college degree in Business, IT, Telecommunications, or related fields, with over 5 years of professional business development or sales experience, including at least 3 years in gaming, technical ecosystems, or cloud communications, and 3 years in managerial or strategic roles.
  • Proven track record of managing lead-generation pipelines from prospecting to contract execution, leveraging an existing network with localized partners such as payment providers, network operators, cloud merchants, and technical solution providers in the Philippines.
  • Strong understanding of corporate communication metrics, including delivery rates, latency, bulk messaging routing, and verification workflows, with the ability to design pricing strategies and customized commercial packages based on client volume and regional requirements.
  • Experience analyzing competitor capabilities to articulate unique enterprise value propositions.
  • Highly self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven, with exceptional business acumen and analytical skills to map multi-layered decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage.
