Full-timeColombo, Sri Lanka

The Role

We are one of the fastest-growing companies and a leader in digital transformation, Blockchain, and AI technologies. We serve global clients across education, healthcare, and manufacturing. As we scale our international presence, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Quality Engineer who doesn't just find bugs but builds the frameworks that prevent them. If you are a Python enthusiast with a passion for high-performance automation and security, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Data Strategy: Design and execute test plans for complex data journeys, ensuring seamless flow from initial sensor capture to the insights surfaced on clinician dashboards.
  • Automation Excellence: Build and scale robust frameworks using Playwright (Web) and Appium (Mobile) with Python.
  • Clinical Guardrails & Compliance: Validate that the platform adheres to safety standards, ensuring no unauthorized diagnostic language or unsafe claims are present, and that uncertainty in data is correctly labeled.
  • Privacy & Ethics: Rigorously validate permissions, consent flows, data minimization logic, and user "right to withdraw" actions.
  • Performance & Chaos Engineering: Conduct load testing with JMeter and collaborate with DevOps to implement chaos testing for data dropouts and synthetic data replay tests in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Regression: Perform targeted regression tests for pipeline changes to ensure user-facing narratives and summaries remain accurate and untampered.

Requirements

  • Python & SQL Mastery: Proven expertise in Python is mandatory. You must also be proficient in SQL for deep-dive data validation and pipeline testing.
  • Relevant Experience: 3–5 years in a QA/QE role, preferably with experience in health-tech, medical devices, or high-compliance environments.
  • Multi-Platform Automation: Hands-on experience designing frameworks with Playwright and Appium.
  • Hardware/Mobile Savvy: Understanding the nuances of sensor data (sampling rates, hardware variability).
  • Security & Safety Mindset: Practical knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and a deep understanding of data privacy/consent logic.
  • Tooling: Proficiency in QMetry for test case management and JMeter for performance engineering.
  • Analytical Rigor: A "quality-first" mindset with obsessive attention to detail, especially regarding labeling accuracy and diagnostic safety.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work alongside Data and DevOps engineers to bake QA directly into the CI/CD lifecycle.
