Job Role:

The Lead Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) serves as the primary technical authority for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will be the Engineer-in-Charge (Penanggung Jawab) for projects, ensuring that all designs are energy-efficient, constructible, and fully compliant with Indonesian building codes. Your role is pivotal in bridging high-level design concepts with the technical rigor required for statutory PBG and SLF approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Penanggung Jawab Mechanical, taking professional responsibility for HVAC quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and approve HVAC calculations, ducting/piping layouts, and technical specifications for PBG/SLF submissions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from early concept to detailed construction documentation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs to ensure on-site execution aligns with design intent.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and drafting staff.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with valid STRI and SKA/SKK Level 8 (Ahli Madya).
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC design experience, including responsibility as Engineer-in-Charge on industrial or regulated development projects.
• Expertise in HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, ducting/piping systems (chilled water, VRF, ventilation), and compliance with Indonesian mechanical codes and standards.
• Proficient in HAP, Elite CHVAC, TRACE 700, AutoCAD, and basic ETABS/SAP2000 for mechanical-structural coordination.
• Professional English for technical communication with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, technically rigorous, and able to coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
