Soletroll Pvt Ltd is a fast-growing trading card game (TCG) and collectibles business specializing in Pokémon, anime merchandise, and gaming accessories. We buy, sell, trade, host events, and aim to become Sri Lanka’s go-to destination for TCG enthusiasts.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records (daily sales, expenses, inventory movements)
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

Retail & Operational Support

• Reconcile POS sales with cash/card collections
• Work closely with front-end staff on cashiering accuracy
• Track inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)

Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare and file tax returns (if applicable)
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies (IRD, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan accounting standards and regulations

Payroll & HR Support

• Manage payroll processing (salaries, EPF, ETF contributions)
• Maintain employee-related financial records

Process Improvement

• Develop and document financial processes and internal controls
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Requirements

• Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
• 2–4 years of accounting experience (retail experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
