Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to lead Soletroll’s brand growth, customer acquisition, and community engagement. This role requires a balance of creativity and execution, with a strong focus on driving sales through campaigns, product launches, and events.
You will be responsible for positioning Soletroll as Sri Lanka’s go-to destination for Trading Card Games and collectibles.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Revenue Marketing
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive store traffic and online sales
- Lead product launches (e.g., booster boxes, limited drops, pre-orders)
- Develop strategies to increase customer retention and repeat purchases
- Track and optimize campaign performance (ROI-focused)
Content & Social Media
- Oversee Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
- Plan and execute content calendars (reels, posts, stories, promos)
Create engaging content around: New arrivals Openings / pulls Events & tournaments Community highlights
Manage DMs and customer engagement strategy
Brand & Positioning
- Build Soletroll into a recognizable and trusted brand in the TCG space
- Maintain consistency in branding, tone, and visual identity
- Develop promotional materials (posters, banners, in-store visuals)
Community & Events
- Plan and promote tournaments, game nights, and special events
- Collaborate with players, influencers, and community leaders
- Grow and engage the local TCG community
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify and execute collaborations with brands, creators, and communities
- Manage sponsorships and cross-promotional opportunities
Team & Execution
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to align marketing with stock and demand
- Coordinate with designers, videographers, and external vendors if needed
- Take ownership of marketing timelines and execution
Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in marketing (retail, e-commerce, or lifestyle brands preferred)
- Strong understanding of social media marketing (especially Instagram & TikTok)
- Experience running paid ads (Meta Ads is a plus)
- Ability to plan and execute campaigns independently
- Strong analytical mindset (comfortable with data and performance tracking)
