About the Role
This role is a mix of creative thinking, scriptwriting, content direction, and project coordination. You’ll be responsible for developing strong creative concepts, writing compelling scripts, guiding editors, managing content production workflows, and making sure final videos meet a high quality standard.
You should be someone who understands what makes content engaging, knows how to adapt ideas to different platforms, and can lead the creative process from concept to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Write scripts and creative concepts for video content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, ads, and other digital formats
- Develop content angles, hooks, storytelling structures, and messaging that align with brand goals
- Source, coordinate, and manage freelance actors, creators, or talent when needed for video shoots
- Manage video editors and content production projects from brief to final output
- Provide clear creative direction and feedback to video editors to ensure content is on-brand and effective
- Review and quality check final videos before publishing
- Ensure all video content maintains strong creative quality, brand consistency, and platform relevance
- Help improve creative workflows and content systems for faster, better production
Requirements
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, creative strategy, content production or Creative/Marketing Agency Background.
- Strong understanding of content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and social-first formats.
- Having a Theatre or English Literature background is a plus.
- Ability to write compelling, clear, and high-converting scripts.
- Strong creative instincts for hooks, storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
- Ability to give actionable, constructive creative feedback.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, especially in reviewing and approving final video content.
- Ability to balance creativity with deadlines and execution.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on performance-driven creative or paid social content
- Familiarity with creator-style content, UGC, and direct response video formats
- Understanding of brand storytelling and conversion-focused messaging
- Experience in startup, agency, media, or fast-paced content environments
