We’re Hiring: Optometrist

City Pharmacy Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Optometrist to join our Clinical Services team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality eye care, support patient wellbeing, and contribute to the clinical and retail operations of our medical centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and vision tests.

Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions; refer patients where required.

Prescribe corrective lenses and provide vision therapy.

Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.

Maintain accurate patient records and uphold clinical compliance standards.

Work collaboratively with pharmacy and clinical teams to provide integrated healthcare.

Ensure all optometry equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Stay updated on new optometry practices and participate in professional development.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification.

Valid PNG optometry licence.

Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience.

Strong diagnostic, patient care, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Proficiency with optometric instruments and diagnostic tools.
