Lead IFS Technical Consultant

Employment type : Contract Duration : 6 months

Are you interested in being part of a dynamic team working with a leading Scandinavian retail organization running IFS Applications? The customer makes extensive use of the Supply Chain and Retail processes within IFS Applications and is looking for a skilled developer to support ongoing development and enhancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Gather and understand business and technical requirements

· Design and implement customizations and enhancements

· Develop integrations and reports where required

· Troubleshoot and correct existing customizations

· Manage development tasks through the full lifecycle from requirement gathering to production release

· Adhere to development, build and installation processes

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience working with IFS Applications

• Good knowledge of IFS development tools and frameworks

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong understanding of software engineering tools and practices

• Experience working with IFS Supply Chain would be a definite advantage

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to drive tasks independently

• Experience in

o Developing new features and customizations on top of IFS Applications

o Troubleshooting and correcting issues in IFS Applications and related customizations

o Working with configurations such as Reports and Custom Events

• Experience working with integrations would be an added advantage (SOAP/REST APIs, IFS Connect messaging, file integrations, and EDI standards)

• Experience with Agile ways of working
