Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an L2 Network Administrator responsible for day-to-day network operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on incident handling, standard changes, and supporting network stability across LAN, WAN, and security environments.

Fort iGATE Firewall:

 Configure and manage

 Firewall policies and NAT

 VIPs and address objects

 Site-to-Site & Remote Access VPNs

 Monitor logs and traffic flow

 Perform firmware upgrades under supervision

 Support backup and restore activities

 Security policy architecture

 Advanced VPN solutions

 High Availability (HA) and clustering

 Perform independent firmware upgrades and migrations

 Lead TAC discussions and implement permanent fixes

Cisco Switching:

 Configure and troubleshoot

 VLANs, Access & Trunk ports

 STP, Port-Channel

 VLAN routing

 Switch installation, port activation, and license management

 STP loops and convergence issues

 Routing protocol (OSPF and BGP)

 Support Nexus / DC switching concepts

 Lead switch refresh and migration activities

 Port security

 STP (RSTP/MST – basic)

 EtherChannel / Port-Channel

 Perform switch installation, rack & stack, and cabling validation

 Handle MAC address table and ARP-related issues

 Configure and manage:

Cisco Meraki SD-WAN:

 Manage Meraki Dashboard operations

 Configure WAN links, VPN connectivity, and traffic shaping

 Monitor alerts, performance, and branch connectivity

 Perform basic troubleshooting and escalation

 Design and optimize SD-WAN policies and failover strategies

 Handle large-scale branch rollouts and Perform root cause analysis for WAN instability

Additional Information:

• This is 6 days work from office role

• Interview mode- 2 Technical rounds (F2F Mandatory) in Chennai

• We are looking for L2 level support

Required Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) - IT/CS/E&CE/MCA
