Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Centre Network Administrator to manage, monitor, and support enterprise-grade data centre network infrastructure. The role involves handling core switching, routing, firewalls, and network security, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with organizational SLAs.

Network & Data Centre Operations:

• Handle L2 incident, service request, and change management activities

• Monitor network availability, performance, and security events

• Perform initial troubleshooting and escalation with detailed analysis

• Assist in DC & WAN architecture planning

• Review and optimize existing network topology

• TCP/IP, OSI model

• Routing & Switching

• Network security concepts

• Support rack & stack, cabling, patching, and cross-connects

• Manage DC interconnects, MPLS, leased lines, and internet circuits

• Support cloud connectivity (Azure / AWS) via VPN or ExpressRoute / Direct Connect

Cisco Switching:

• Configure and troubleshoot

• VLANs, Access & Trunk ports

• STP, Port-Channel

• VLAN routing

• Switch installation, port activation, and license management

• STP loops and convergence issues

• Routing protocol (OSPF and BGP)

• Support Nexus / DC switching concepts

• Lead switch refresh and migration activities

• Port security

• STP (RSTP/MST – basic)

• EtherChannel / Port-Channel

• Perform switch installation, rack & stack, and cabling validation

• Handle MAC address table and ARP-related issues

• Configure and manage

Additional Information:

• This is 6 days work from office role

• Interview mode -F2F only (mandatory)

• We are looking for L2 Level support

Required Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) - IT/CS/E&CE/MCA
