The VP Sales – Data Center Market is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion in the data center industry by developing strategic partnerships, leading high-performance sales teams, and securing large-scale infrastructure projects with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients.

📌 Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute national sales strategy for the data center market segment
  • Identify new business opportunities with hyperscale, colocation, telco, and enterprise clients
  • Build long-term partnerships with EPC contractors, consultants, and developers
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in data center infrastructure

2. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Lead and mentor sales managers and enterprise sales teams
  • Drive achievement of revenue targets, pipeline growth, and project conversion
  • Oversee complex B2B project sales cycles (tender, negotiation, closing)
  • Manage high-value accounts and strategic customers

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as key executive contact for major data center clients
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, finance, and operations teams to deliver solutions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term account retention

4. Commercial & Contract Management

  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract structures
  • Review major project proposals and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

✅ Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 12–15+ years of sales experience in infrastructure, power system, electrical, or data center industry
  • Proven track record in handling large-scale project sales (CAPEX-based)
  • Strong network within data center ecosystem (developers, EPC, telco, hyperscalers)

Technical & Market Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of: Data center infrastructure (power, transformer, UPS, cooling, switchgear) Project-based B2B sales cycles and tender processes Enterprise and hyperscale client requirements

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Results-driven and comfortable working with aggressive targets
