One of our prestigious clients involved in Wind Turbine Generator projects is seeking dedicated and proactive Project Technical Engineers to support project execution and on-site engineering activities. This role plays a critical part in assisting the Project Manager to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and successful delivery of wind turbine projects.

The ideal candidate will gain hands-on exposure to large-scale renewable energy projects while working closely with multidisciplinary technical teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Project Manager in managing the full wind turbine installation engineering process, including on-site hoisting, mechanical assembly, and electrical connections.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and technical resources required for installation and commissioning activities.
• Lead and support on-site commissioning and trial operation of wind turbine equipment during project delivery.
• Supervise commissioning processes and collaborate with project owners and civil contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor, track, and control installation quality and commissioning progress.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges during installation and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate internal technical teams and site personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Perform additional on-site engineering and technical support tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Civil, or related discipline).
• Background or experience in power generation, electrical systems, renewable energy, or related engineering fields is an advantage.
• Candidates from other engineering disciplines with relevant project or field experience will also be considered.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Basic to intermediate Chinese (Mandarin) listening and speaking skills are required for coordination with internal teams.
• Knowledge of local Sri Lankan language is an advantage.
• Valid Sri Lankan Driving License is required.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
