Overall Purpose of Job:
To drive merchant acquisition, promote Total Payable’s payment solutions, and ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support, while maintaining strong merchant relationships and achieving sales targets.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Merchant Acquisition & Product Promotion
• Proactively identify and onboard new merchants for Total Payable’s integrated payment solutions (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Alipay, WeChat).
• Promote the full suite of Total Payable products including WPOS (Mini & Pro), MPOS (Pinpad), and Payable TAP, tailoring solutions to merchant needs.
- Set and Monitor Sales Targets
• Execute sales targets set by the Assistant Manager through structured field plans and lead conversion initiatives.
• Track daily sales funnel metrics such as lead-to-sale ratio, activations, and churn. 100% DSR compliance, 85%+ rent collection, churn below 5%.
- Foster and Maintain Merchant Relationships
• Ensure timely onboarding, retention, and satisfaction of merchants.
• Conduct follow-ups to address merchant concerns and ensure continued usage of payment solutions.
- Rental Collection Oversight
• Coordinate rent collection and ensure accurate reconciliation of payments.
• Maintain updated records on rent collection status in CRM.
- Technical Support Coordination
• Liaise with the technical support team to ensure swift issue resolution for merchants and minimal downtime of devices.
- Routine Merchant Visits
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor merchant satisfaction, collect feedback, and identify upselling opportunities.
- Sales Reporting and Documentation
• Ensure all sales activities, merchant interactions, and rent collection data are accurately logged in the CRM/DTM system.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on team performance, lead conversion, and revenue collection.
- Lead Management
• Take ownership of digital and inbound leads, ensuring timely follow-up, engagement, and conversion.
Qualifications & Other Attributes Required for the role
• Professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in payment solutions, fintech, or banking.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a sales team to achieve targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently for field visits and merchant engagements.
