Role Purpose:

The Manager – Human Resources is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of core HR services and programs across Swivel Sri Lanka. This role supports both strategic and operational HR needs, enabling Swivel Tech and Swivel Finance teams through consistent, policy-driven and people-focused practices. The role will directly oversee HR operations, employee relations, compliance and performance management, working closely with the GM – Shared Services and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Service Delivery & Operations

  • Oversee the smooth execution of all employee lifecycle events from onboarding to exit.
  • Maintain and update personnel files, employee records, HRIS entries, and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure timely execution of employee documentation including contracts, letters, and confirmations.

2. Compliance & Policy Governance

  • Ensure strict adherence to all statutory regulations and labor law requirements.
  • Communicate and reinforce HR policies and procedures across teams for adherence.
  • Support internal audits, labor inspections, and maintain audit-ready HR documentation.

3. Employee Relations & Experience

  • Act as a primary point of contact for staff inquiries, grievances, and policy clarifications.
  • Conduct investigations in line with grievance or disciplinary procedures and escalate when required.
  • Drive employee engagement and wellbeing activities in alignment with company culture.

4. Performance Management

  • Administer the annual and bi-annual performance review processes.
  • Support managers with performance coaching, probation reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Track and follow up on performance-related documentation and review closure rates.

5. Talent Development & L&D Coordination

  • Maintain a training calendar aligned with functional learning needs.
  • Coordinate training logistics, attendance tracking, and post-training feedback.
  • Support soft skills development and leadership development program implementation.

6. Workforce Reporting & Metrics

  • Provide timely monthly reports on: headcount, turnover, leave & attendance, training, etc.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of HR generalist experience with hands-on HR operations exposure.
  • Experience managing HR compliance and engagement in a mid-sized or tech/BPO-driven business.
  • Strong understanding of Sri Lankan labor law and HRIS platforms.
