About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) with 3–5 years of experience who can take a high-level brief and deliver a project end-to-end. You’ll work closely with product/design/stakeholders, turn requirements into a solid technical plan, and build high-quality features across the stack.

This role suits someone who’s hands-on, communicates clearly, and takes ownership—someone who can deliver independently while collaborating well with others.

What you’ll do

• Build, ship, and maintain full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js
• Take ownership of tasks/projects from brief → plan → build → release
• Break down high-level requirements into user stories, technical tasks, and milestones
• Implement backend APIs and integrations, and connect them cleanly to the frontend
• Deploy and operate services on AWS (with support from the team where needed)
• Write clean, maintainable code with good test coverage (where appropriate)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical teammates

Must-have skills & experience

• 3–5 years experience in software engineering (full-stack preferred)
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js & Next.js
• Exposure to AWS (examples: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, IAM)
• Able to work from a high-level brief and deliver with minimal supervision
• Strong soft skills: clear written & verbal communication & proactive updates and ownership
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

Nice-to-have

• Testing (Jest, Playwright/Cypress) and quality practices
• Serverless and/or containers (Lambda, ECS, Docker)
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation)
• Performance optimisation, observability, and production troubleshooting
• Experience mentoring juniors or leading small pieces of delivery
