We are looking for a skilled and proactive Product Owner to join our team and drive the delivery of high- quality software solutions in a distributed Agile environment. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on collaboration, clarity, and continuous improvement ensuring teams stay aligned and customers receive exceptional value. ‍

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and support distributed Agile development teams, providing clear direction and ensuring alignment on priorities.

• Own and manage the product backlog, including writing high-quality user stories and defining acceptance criteria.

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent requirements, clarity, and alignment.

• Conduct all essential Agile ceremonies; sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery cycles ‍

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a PO leading distributed Agile teams.

• Strong background in user story development, backlog management, and requirement prioritization.

• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive alignment at all levels.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub

• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. ‍

Additional Qualifications

• A scientific or research-based background (e.g., biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, materials science, or related fields).

• Experience working with software solutions that design, automate, or orchestrate scientific workflows (e.g., lab automation, computational workflows, scientific data platforms).
