As a Content Editor reporting to the Communications & Digital Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end development of high – quality digital content in support of the Group Strategic Marketing Department’s communication plans and strategies. The position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engaging content that aligns with the brands aesthetic and marketing objectives, while also providing general support where required to the overall marketing team.

Responsibilities:

· Create fun and engaging social media and digital content, in line with the Brand Manager’s Promotional Plans, and at the direction of the Department in supporting the Promotion and Activations.

· Prepare content for the digital publication of marketing material and support distribution.

· Contribute to the implementation of the Group’s Digital marketing strategies.

· Support the Communications & Digital Manager in overseeing the department’s digital operations.

· Ensuring all camera and digital equipment used to support the role are kept and maintained in a safe manner.

· Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.

· See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.

General skills:

· Good communication skills (spoken and written).

· Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels digital marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.

· “Can do” attitude when handling complex situations.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of video editing, marketing/graphics design and photography.

· Proven experience as a content editor or similar role.

· Solid knowledge of digital media techniques and principles.

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office and the Adobe Suite of Software along with various editing tools.

· Thorough understanding of social media and digital marketing trends.

· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
