Job Role:
The GM Operations (COO or Integrator) acts as the business partner to the CEO, responsible for translating the Visionary’s strategic direction into clear operational plans. This role oversees all core functions, including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Accounting & Tax, HR, Supply Chain, and Operations, ensuring the organization executes with discipline, alignment, and accountability using EOS, KPIs, and OKRs.
The GM Operations leads cross-functional teams, maintains organizational cadence through EOS tools (such as L10 meetings, rocks, and scorecards), strengthens operational efficiency, and ensures smooth day-to-day business operations, allowing the CEO to focus on growth, partnerships, and long-term strategy. This high-impact role requires strong leadership, communication, resilience, structured thinking, and the ability to operationalize strategy into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the operational business partner to the CEO, translating strategic ideas into clear, structured, and executable plans.
- Maintain alignment, discipline, and clarity across all departments and leadership teams, ensuring smooth decision-making and cross-functional coordination.
- Lead Sales & Marketing, Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT), HR, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and execution excellence.
- Implement EOS/OKR frameworks, including L10 meetings, KPI monitoring, scorecards, quarterly planning, and structured issue-solving.
- Oversee P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, cost-efficiency, and support financial decision-making to improve margins.
- Ensure operational effectiveness across all functions, resolve cross-functional bottlenecks, improve SOPs, and align processes with EOS discipline.
- Make tactical and strategic decisions on behalf of the CEO when needed, stabilize operations during complexity or conflict, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Lead negotiations with distributors, vendors, logistics partners, and key suppliers while maintaining long-term commercial relationships.
- Champion the consistent use of EOS tools, develop KPI frameworks, and ensure execution alignment from top management to staff.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10–15 years of experience in senior operations, business management, or cross-functional leadership roles, including positions such as GM, COO, Integrator, or Head of Operations within FMCG or personal care industries.
- Proven track record in leading multiple business units (Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain), scaling operations, managing transformation, and implementing structured execution frameworks.
- Strong LMA capabilities (Leading, Managing, Accountability) with hands-on leadership while maintaining strategic perspective.
- Excellent problem-solving, structured thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and capable of implementing EOS, KPIs, and OKRs across the organization.
- Emotionally stable, responsible, mature, and able to manage complex operational and leadership dynamics.
- High integrity, trustworthiness, alignment with company values, and professional fluency in English.
