With rapid international expansion, it now operates multiple warehouses and distribution hubs across India, the Middle East, Russia, and new growth markets such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, supported by a strong logistics network that serves major converters, packaging companies, distributors, and manufacturing clients across Asia.
As Vietnam becomes one of its key expansion markets—with a local partner already in place and a corporate office being set up—the company is strengthening its Southeast Asia presence by hiring an experienced Sales Manager. This role will drive business development, client acquisition, and regional market penetration for its adhesives and coatings portfolio.
Job Role:
The SEA Sales Manager – Adhesives (Flexible Packaging) will lead the company’s commercial activities across Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asia region, focusing on adhesives used in flexible packaging, laminations, plastics, and industrial converting applications. The candidate will work closely with the company’s Vietnam partner and receive support from the India headquarters, with frequent travel across SEA markets.
This role requires a strong combination of technical sales expertise, regional market knowledge, and customer-facing leadership. The Sales Manager will visit packaging converters, brand owners, laminators, and manufacturing companies to drive product adoption, gather feedback, run trials, and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies for adhesives, coatings, and chemical products, while managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing.
- Drive key account acquisition and growth across Vietnam and broader SEA markets, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
- Conduct customer visits to assess requirements, recommend solutions, provide pre-sales technical support, and participate in product trials, application tests, and scale-up activities.
- Expand market presence by building and strengthening distributor and partner networks, while monitoring regional trends, competitors, pricing, and regulatory developments.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track pipeline performance, and deliver market intelligence insights on competition, supply-demand shifts, and customer behavior.
- Collaborate closely with logistics, operations, and R&D teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and effective technical support, with frequent travel for customer meetings and regional market development.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (Chemical, Polymer, Materials, Mechanical) or a business degree with strong technical sales experience.
- 10+ years in sales with at least 5 years in a managerial role, including 5+ years of B2B sales in adhesives/coatings/chemical specialties or flexible packaging/plastics/converting sectors.
- Proven track record managing industrial clients such as converters, laminators, and packaging manufacturers, with experience operating across Southeast Asia.
- Strong technical understanding of lamination adhesives, coatings, and key production processes (lamination, pouching, sealing, extrusion), with ability to conduct presentations and support application trials.
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer management, problem-solving, business development, and professional communication; additional language skills are an advantage.
