It collaborates closely with local miners, smelters, commodity traders, and international buyers, connecting Indonesian resources to global demand through long-term partnerships, supply agreements, and strategic channel development.
Job Role:
A mid-senior commercial role focused on expanding the company’s coal trading network, acquiring new clients, and maintaining strong relationships with coal miners, logistics partners, and buyers across Indonesia and the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new clients and build relationships within the coal supply chain, including miners, traders, distributors, and industrial users.
- Manage daily sales operations, including handling inquiries, product promotion, pricing discussions, and order follow-ups.
- Develop and expand coal sales channels by identifying potential buyers, assessing demand, and supporting market penetration efforts.
- Maintain relationships with existing coal clients to ensure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales documentation, including proposals, offers, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Track shipment schedules, resolve client issues, and ensure smooth order delivery in coordination with the logistics team.
- Monitor coal market price movements, policies, and supply-demand trends.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports to the manager and headquarters.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with company processes and contract requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years in coal marketing, sales, or trading, including client acquisition and market development.
- Strong knowledge of coal types, specifications, logistics, pricing, and regulations, with ability to prepare offers and negotiate contracts.
- Proven skills in sales execution, building and maintaining client relationships, and reporting market insights.
- Target-driven, proactive, resilient, and able to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent Mandarin and proficient in English.
