Job Role:
The Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Supervisor will be responsible for managing financial operations across multiple entities, with a strong focus on tax compliance, especially PPh 22 (Import Tax). The role involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting strategic financial planning and audits.
This position offers a professional environment where collaboration with both Indonesian and Chinese teams is essential, fostering cross-border exposure and hands-on experience in managing finance and tax for a diverse, fast-paced organization, while requiring a detail-oriented professional who can communicate effectively in Mandarin and collaborate closely with both local and group finance teams in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial documentation.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and budgeting.
- Oversee financial transactions and account reconciliations across multiple subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance, particularly in import-related taxation (PPh 22).
- Manage cash flow forecasts, monitor daily balances, and ensure proper liquidity management.
- Support monthly and annual closing processes, audits, and internal reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related fields, with Brevet A/B Certification required.
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions, handling multi-entity operations, preferably in import, trading, or e-commerce industries.
- Strong knowledge of PPh 22 (import tax) and other relevant tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting and tax software such as SAP and Coretax, with advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin (oral and written) for daily coordination with Chinese management, and business-level proficiency in English.
- Meticulous, analytical, highly organized, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and multi-task across multiple entities.
