1. Digital Operations Improvement
- Lead the implementation of digital tools (ERP, SAP, WMS, or procurement systems) to streamline day-to-day operations.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process automation initiatives (e.g., RPA for invoice or order processing).
- Ensure digital initiatives are aligned with operational KPIs and business goals.
2. Process Automation & Efficiency
- Initiate and manage automation projects such as demand planning, replenishment, and data entry automation.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of digital solutions.
- Measure time and cost savings achieved through automation.
3. Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through better sourcing, digital visibility, and operational analytics.
- Track cost-saving impact directly resulting from digital process improvements.
4. Data-Driven Operations
- Build and maintain operational dashboards (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) to track KPIs in real-time.
- Enable management to make faster, data-backed decisions in procurement, logistics, and supply chain activities.
5. Digital Capability Building
- Conduct training for teams to improve digital literacy and adoption of new tools.
- Create documentation and SOPs for digitalized workflows.
6. Integration with Ecosystem Partners
- Oversee integration with supplier portals, logistics platforms, and warehouse tracking systems.
- Ensure data consistency and visibility across all systems and vendors.
7. Real-Time Supply Chain Visibility
- Lead projects that enhance visibility into inventory, shipment status, and supplier performance using RFID, IoT, or real-time dashboards.
- Ensure accurate and timely operational reporting.
8. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain process standards, monitor compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma).
- Promote a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or process improvement, ideally in an e-commerce or FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP/SAP, WMS, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Proven experience in process automation or digitalization projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
