Our client is a global fine jewelry and luxury brand headquartered in Paris, recognized for its innovative craftsmanship, contemporary elegance, and growing international presence across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the U.S. The brand operates under a leading international fashion and lifestyle group backed by a major global conglomerate with interests spanning luxury, fashion, tourism, and finance.

Job Role:

The Head of Wholesale – EMEA will lead and expand the brand’s wholesale distribution network for its fine jewelry and luxury accessories collections across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

While the brand operates retail boutiques globally, its wholesale division manages commercial partnerships with third-party retailers, including multi-brand luxury jewelry stores, department stores, concept stores, and travel retail partners.

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase market penetration and brand visibility, ensuring consistent representation of the brand’s high-end jewelry collections—including diamond jewelry, precious stones, engagement and bridal lines, and limited-edition fashion jewelry—across partner retailers and distributors in key EMEA markets.

The position requires a commercially driven leader with a deep understanding of luxury retail operations, regional wholesale dynamics, and partner management, capable of translating brand identity into successful commercial strategies and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement the overarching wholesale strategy for the EMEA region, aligning with global brand objectives and growth targets.
  • Business Development & Relationship Management
    • Identify, target, and secure new wholesale partnerships, focusing on strengthening relationships with department stores, retailers, and distributors—particularly across the Middle Eastern luxury market.
  • P&L Ownership
    • Oversee the full P&L of the EMEA wholesale business, ensuring achievement of sales targets, margin optimization, and cost control.
  • Market Analysis & Expansion
    • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for market expansion and brand differentiation.
  • Key Account Management
    • Manage and nurture relationships with top retail partners to ensure brand visibility, sales performance, and alignment with global retail standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Partner with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure operational excellence, brand consistency, and timely product delivery across EMEA markets.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead, coach, and mentor the regional wholesale team, setting clear objectives, performance goals, and professional development plans.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in wholesale, commercial, or business development roles within the luxury goods or high-end jewelry sector.
    • Proven success in managing multi-country sales operations across EMEA markets.
    • Established and active professional network within the Middle Eastern luxury retail and jewelry industry.
  • Language:
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Full fluency in French is highly preferred.
  • Professional & Personal Qualities:
    • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver on ambitious sales and profit goals in a fast-paced, global environment.
    • Exceptional relationship management and cross-cultural communication abilities.
