Job Role:
The Direct Sales Executive – Ocean Freight will be responsible for driving new business growth by selling the company’s ocean freight forwarding solutions to business clients across various sectors. This role focuses on identifying potential customers, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
The position requires a proactive sales professional with strong knowledge of 3PL operations, international freight, and end-to-end supply chain services, capable of achieving sales targets in a competitive logistics market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow ocean freight business and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify, approach, and secure new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular sales visits and presentations to understand client logistics needs and propose customized solutions.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and pricing proposals for ocean freight services.
- Collaborate closely with internal operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth service execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support business development strategies.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Represent LX Pantos professionally in meetings, negotiations, and industry networking events.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related fields.
- Experience:
- More than 3 years of experience in Sales functions.
- Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience in 3PL, logistics, or ocean freight forwarding.
- Proven success in business development, key account management, or client acquisition in the freight industry.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and ocean cargo operations.
- Knowledge of end-to-end logistics processes, including pricing, tendering, and documentation.
- Language Skills: English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional Qualities: High initiative, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
