Job Role:
As the Marketing Manager – New Business, you will lead the marketing efforts for the client’s new product line. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can design, execute, and oversee integrated marketing initiatives to ensure a successful launch, growth, and sustained brand influence in the Indonesian FMCG market.
Beyond the client’s core portfolio, this position also involves handling new product segments such as mochi, premium ice cream under the brand Kaluli, and emerging categories like frozen food, ensuring effective market entry, consumer engagement, and long-term positioning across these diversified business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and oversee annual marketing plans aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor developments to shape proactive marketing strategies.
- Brand Building & Promotion
- Lead promotional activities and brand initiatives to increase market share and strengthen brand identity.
- Plan and execute online and offline campaigns, evaluating and optimizing performance.
- Content & Campaign Development
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials including advertising scripts, digital media content, promotional materials, and PR activities.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
- Partnerships & External Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, advertising agencies, and PR institutions.
- Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and coordinate a marketing team to deliver on objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, operations) to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business priorities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Management (minimum).
- Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in Marketing functions, and has been a manager in the past 3 years.
- Minimum 6 years of marketing experience in FMCG, with proven experience in developing new brands or product launches.
- Prior experience in leading and managing a marketing team.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of marketing planning, promotional methods (online & offline), and multi-channel campaign execution.
- Solid analytical ability, with strong market sensitivity and innovative thinking.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (oral and written) and Mandarin (spoken) to communicate with expatriate reporting lines, and management teams.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and project execution skills.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, and can perform under pressure.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective in cross-functional collaboration and experienced in leading or coordinating with a sales team.
