In Indonesia specifically, they are known for strong presence in cybersecurity product distribution (large portion of product portfolio), partnerships with major vendors, and providing value-add services (training, enablement, channel programs), where local operations are part of the bigger portfolio that crosses US$3 billion in certain markets.

Job Role:

The Post Sales Engineer will provide technical deployment, support, and enablement services for the client’s security and infrastructure solutions, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction. This includes installation and configuration at client sites, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting training sessions for customers, and maintaining documentation to support knowledge sharing. The role requires strong technical expertise, clear communication, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively to ensure smooth handovers from pre-sales, timely resolution of issues, and long-term trust with partners and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and deployment - Overseeing the installation and configuration of the sold product or service at the customer site, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Technical support - Providing technical assistance to customers regarding product usage, troubleshooting issues, and resolving queries.
  • Customer training - Conducting training sessions to educate customers on product features, operation, and best practices.
  • Relationship management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Issue resolution - Diagnosing technical problems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Feedback collection - Gathering customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product development
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing - Creating and updating technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to support customers
  • Project management - Managing post-sale project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of working experience in technical cybersecurity, within the IT industry.
    • Experienced in customer-facing Post Sales scope of works, which covers implementation and deployment, as well as issue resolution, and project management.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Have effective communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Possess good interpersonal skills to work well with all levels of staff.
    • Be meticulous, pay attention to detail, and follow up.
    • Work well within a team environment.
    • Be self-motivated, willing to learn, result-oriented, independent, with a good attitude.
    • Possess a go-getter attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
  • Language Skills: business-level oral and written English.
