It offers a wide portfolio of category-leading vendor solutions across Security, Networking, Data Center, Unified Communications & Collaboration, and Cloud & Infrastructure products, solutions, and services.

With over 3,400 employees globally, they support around 12,000 partner customers, operate physically in about 50 countries, with capability to service about 180 countries via their distribution and services network. In Indonesia specifically, they are known for strong presence in cybersecurity product distribution (large portion of product portfolio), partnerships with major vendors, and providing value-add services (training, enablement, channel programs), where local operations are part of the bigger portfolio that crosses US$3 billion in certain markets.

Job Role:

The Business Development Manager will focus on accelerating sales of networking solutions, by leading strategic account planning, building strong pipelines across territories, and achieving revenue targets through effective partner engagement. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role involves consultative selling, competitive positioning, and coordination with channel teams to ensure partner-led execution. The position requires strong business acumen to manage large opportunities, the ability to craft and execute regional strategies, and the drive to expand market share in Indonesia’s networking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Networking plans and strategies in line with principal priority.
  • Drive business growth through identifying new projects, creating opportunities, and securing business attachments.
  • Develop a predictable pipeline of short, mid, and long-term opportunities to support the business.
  • Practice consultative selling by building solutions to solve customer business problems.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape, strategies and tactics of the competitors.
  • Close deals and consistently remain highly competitive in the market space.
  • Maintain and lead detailed and accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Channel Team and partners on new and existing sales opportunities, leveraging their capabilities when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in any related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to selling Networking solutions within the IT industries.
    • Experienced in selling Networking solutions (e.g., Wireless, Routing, Switching) with demonstrated success in a field sales capacity
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Skilled in direct touch sales with experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering with others to enhance results.
    • Experienced in managing large deals and executing account and partner plans across geographic territories.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Capable of building and implementing an account plan.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proactive and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Language Skills: business-level oral and written English.
