Job Role:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving growth in the data centre solutions portfolio by developing sales strategies, building pipeline opportunities, and executing consultative selling to solve customer business challenges. This role requires close collaboration with channel partners, resellers, and internal sales teams to secure new business, maintain accurate forecasting, and ensure that opportunities are aligned with vendor priorities. Success in this role depends on proactive engagement with the Indonesian market, managing competitive bids effectively, and leveraging relationships to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Networking plans and strategies in line with principal priority.
- Drive business growth through identifying new projects, creating opportunities, and securing business attachments.
- Develop a predictable pipeline of short, mid, and long-term opportunities to support the business.
- Practice consultative selling by building solutions to solve customer business problems.
- Deep understanding of the competitive landscape, strategies, and tactics of the competitors.
- Close deals and consistently remain highly competitive in the market space.
- Maintain and lead detailed and accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with Channel Team and partners on new and existing sales opportunities, leveraging their capabilities when appropriate.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in any related field.
- Experience:
- Min. 3 years of Sales/Business Development experience, performing Direct Sales and Consultative Selling within the IT industries.
- 1+ years in selling Data Centre solutions with demonstrated success in a field sales capacity.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experienced in managing large deals and executing account and partner plans across geographic territories.
- Capable of building and implementing an account plan.
- Professional Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proactive and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Language Skills: business-level oral and written English.
